Should Capital Punishment Be Abolished?

Abstract

Whether capital punishment should be abolished or not is a controversial topic and has been debated for centuries. Many people stated their opinions and argued for their beliefs.

But most of their opinions are not balance and their focus is that they want to persuade you to accept their positions. For this, to show an over-all view, this essay includes some most cogent arguments for both sides and some religious views. That is also because religions are still influential in the analysis of global issues. In terms of death penalty, some religions seem to hold almost opposite beliefs.

What is not so surprising but quite important is that though some arguments for capital punishment are laid on basis foundations, people’s common sense, which may not be easy to refute, there is a steadily increasing support for abolishing capital punishment in the world as a whole.

The complex international situations, make states better to maintain the status quo and sentence with great care.
